I've decided to try my hand at Fiverr.com to see if there was a fun way to make money online while promoting my blog.
At the end of the day, it's only $5 per gig, but really, I want to use this year to be inspired and to invest in learning. While I may only make a small amount of money with each time a customer purchases my fiverr gig, I feel like I'm learning a valuable lesson on how to take advantage of prevalent and relevant trends that show up in the marketplace.
Fiverr.com has been gaining a lot of traction in the past year or so. Everyone is on it, using it, searching it, and wondering about it.
I've personally used it for a number of things I was interested in having done. Most of the time the results are less than mediocre, but then again, if you go in expecting that, it's not all that bad.
I was able to get some press releases about ELEVATED Clothing posted to some relevant sites, I had a very large number of traffic generated to my site, and I've got to play around with the creative side of things as well.

So while recognizing that Fiverr is not great, I do see that I can offer some of my very own services to the community, get paid a small amount of online money for it, and also reap other rewards, such as getting my website seen, and also starting to take advertisments on my blog.

So what service did I post on Fiverr? Well, you can see it here: https://es.fiverr.com/kavadba/advertise-your-company-on-our-website

ELEVATED is my action sports clothing brand, and along with it we have created a Youth Culture, Action Sports blog where we can share music, athlete updates, trending entertainment videos, and edits of wakeboarders, snowboarders, freeskiers, and surfers from across the web. It's really given us a cool environment and atmosphere to expand what we're doing with the company and give fans another way to engage.

Right now, much like on this blog, I am just running a simple Google Adsense campaign to make a little bit of money from each post I put up. To accent that, as I build the audience for www.elevatedclothingco.com, I would like to sell relevant advertising on the site to companies that want to reach our demographic. Which just so happens to be athletic, active minded males and females from 15 to 38, mainly in North America, but with a significant reach to Northern and Western Europe and South America as well.

So Fiverr.com has given me an opportunity to start selling advertising on the blog. It's cheap, its not necessarily specific yet, but it is a start, and momentum almost always breeds momentum.

With that being said, check out our recent lifestyle and youth culture blog posts on www.elevatedclothingco.com/blog and check out our fiverr.com gig. Even moreso, you may start to think about what services you can offer on fiverr to make a few bucks here and there.
